  • Taizo Son is the youngest brother of SoftBank magnate Masayoshi Son. He founded MOVIDA JAPAN in 2009 and supported 47 startups.
  • In 2013, he founded Mistletoe, a hub for startups and the overall entrepreneurial ecosystem. The firm seeks to invest in the education, software, and support sectors.

  • Koichi is the Founder and General Partner of KK Fund. With more than 15 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, and investment banking, he founded KK Fund in 2015. KK Fund targets early-stage investments across Southeast Asia. The firm invested in several Vietnamese startups, such as JobHopin, Med247, Clavis Aurea, and AceStarter.
  • Koichi holds an MBA from IE Business School in Spain and is pursuing a Master’s degree and a diploma in Global Strategy at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. 

Mr. Kuan Hsu

  • Kuan started his career in management consulting with McKinsey & Co. in the US, then focused on supply chain management in the US and China while at Solectron, an Electronics Manufacturing Services provider.
  • Kuan obtained an MBA/MA joint degree from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and became an investment banker in the US with Goldman Sachs executing M&A deals in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors.
  • He subsequently moved to Singapore, executing PE deals at Temasek throughout the region prior to becoming a Venture Capitalist responsible for GREE Ventures’ Southeast Asian operations.

Mynavi Corporation is well known as one of the leading HR companies in Japan, providing a diverse range of human resource services and other professional services. Mynavi has more than 30 group companies and 8 local branches around the world. In Vietnam, Mynavi focuses on Pre-A to B stages investment in HR tech, IT BPO, prop-tech, and other potential segments. Tra Hoang has 7 years of experience in business development and general operations management in various environments, from global corporations and local conglomerates to running her own businesses.

Despite having a diversified background in professionalism, Tra has been deeply involved in the Vietnam startup ecosystem as a hobby for almost 10 years and has gradually built up her own insights and network of the market since then with more than 100 top-notch local entrepreneurs, experts, and regional investors. She started investing 5 years ago with a current portfolio of more than 20 companies. After joining VSV Capital full-time, she has raised and managed the fourth Accelerator fund, screened nearly 500 startups to make 10 pre-seed/seed investments, and accelerated them through a 4-month intensive program.

Other than running her own businesses, she has more than 3 years of strategic management positions in business development and branding in Procter & Gamble and VinGroup, where she was both the youngest ever to take such positions and lead new projects from scratch.

Truc Tran is an Investment Manager at Do Ventures. He is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management. Prior to joining Do Ventures, Truc was an Investment Associate at ESP Capital, one of the first homegrown VCs in Vietnam. Earlier in his career, he worked at Techcombank, a leading commercial bank in Vietnam. Truc is fascinated about working with tech startups and helping to grow their businesses to the next levels.
